The same people,
year after year.
Most of us have been here for decades. You will not be explaining your business to somebody new. One building in Greensburg, and you will deal with more of us than you expect.
Three options, then a person
You will get a menu. Three options, not eight — whether you are a client, whether you are thinking about becoming one, or whether you are a household. Press the first and somebody picks up.
Most days that is Chase Weaver, and Dori Daigle the rest of the time. Chase also runs dispatch, so the person deciding who drives out to you is the same person who heard what was wrong.
The phone system you are calling is the one we install for clients. Three options and a person is what we think a menu should be. More on PAconnect Voice →
Nobody reads you a script
Chase Richardson runs the help desk and the onsite team. Danielle Dvorak and Dan Knaus work across both, which means the person who picks up your call may well be the person who turns up at your door — and Max Saballo and John Vasquez are on the desk alongside them.
What none of them will do is read you a list of questions they do not understand. The person on the phone can see what changed on your network last month, because somebody here wrote it down at the time.
If it needs an engineer, it goes to the person who does that work rather than into a general pool. They are not always free — but you are told who has it and when, instead of being left waiting.

Same team on the phone, same team at your door
Some things do not get fixed down a phone line. A switch that will not come back up, a cut cable, a server that needs hands on it.
When somebody drives out it is one of the same people — not a contractor, and not whoever happened to be free that morning. They have usually been in your building before, which means the first part of the visit goes on the problem rather than on you showing somebody where everything is.
Plenty of what we do is nobody’s emergency
A phone system going in. Cameras and door access on a building that is still being framed. Cable pulled before the drywall goes up, because afterwards costs four times as much.
Jon Sebek runs that work, with John Stein on design and four technicians in the field. The same crew does all of it — which is why the person pulling your cable already knows where the cameras are going, and why there is one number to call when any of it needs looking at later.
Most providers subcontract at least one of those three. We have never had to.

Some things do not get fixed from a desk
Network design. A second site that cannot reach the first. Wireless that dies every afternoon. A server at the end of its life and a decision about what replaces it. Phones for a business that has outgrown the ones it has.
Each of those is somebody’s specialty here rather than somebody’s extra job. When your problem goes to them, the person who took your call talks it through with them first.
You will deal with more of us than the people who fix things
Jennifer Appleby looks after the agreements, the invoicing and the purchasing, and the vendor accounts underneath all of it. If a bill does not look right, she is who sorts it out.
Tess Hempel runs shipping and receiving. Every piece of hardware that arrives for you came through her first, and anything going back goes the same way.
Much of dealing with an IT provider has nothing to do with technology. These are the two people that part goes through.
Forty-five years, same owner
Jude Daigle started this company in 1981 and has run it ever since. In an industry where the people you deal with change every couple of years, the person answerable for how PAconnect works has not changed once.
It is also why the answers on this site are the answers they are. Somebody who has been here forty-five years has nothing to gain from a claim that does not hold up on a bad Tuesday.
